From The Pastor's Desk With Dr Alex Olugbami The Crucified Life (PART 1) Emphasis: Freedom from the TRUTH Text: Gal 2: 20, Matt 10: 39, John 8: 32 Christianity is not a religion neither is Christianity a way of life as it has been erroneously taught. Christianity, is the losing of an old life and the consequent acquiring of a new one. In other words the old life must be crucified with Christ, (Gal 2: 20) please note; not being crucified in Christ as we have also been taught. It is true that Christ has finished all and by faith we are seated in heavenly places in Him but the pathway to heavenly places is to be crucified with Him. This means the only way to glory is through the cross, a very unpopular message in our assemblies today. In this part of the teaching we will look at the five F’s that freedom brings after crucifixion with Christ. In (John 8: 32), Jesus said that Freedom cometh by knowledge of the truth, knowledge is not s...

From the Pastor's Desk ... THE FOUNDATIONS FOR FAVOUR Ruth 3: 3, Psa 4: 6, Ezra 7: 6, Luke 2: 40 Favour is what every elect desire from the LORD, favour from the LORD is the same thing as the light of His countenance. It is the same thing as the hand of the LORD upon an individual; it is often used interchangeably for grace in the scripture. Today, we will discuss favour from the LORD, its source, manifestation and possible requirements. To have favour from The LORD is also to be marked of the LORD. This mark is what attracts favour from man, this mark makes a favoured man to be sought after. This principle of God is manipulated by Lucifer as he often puts his evil no mark of dis-favour on the fore head of most people without their knowledge. Paul gave insight to this in (Gal 6:17) “from hence forth, let no one trouble me for now I bear in my body the marks of Christ Jesus”. From this scripture, Paul knew that before that time there was, in his bod...
From the Pastor's Desk ... THE BLESSING OF THE DEEP (PART 1) Gen 49: 25, Luke 5: 1-8, Psa 42: 7 The blessing of the deep will be discussed in two parts, the first part will be discussed today that talks about God’s blessing of the deep generally. In our next teaching we will be looking at specifics, the target of the blessing of the deep especially as it relates to God’s conception and consequent provision. To be blessed of the LORD is without sorrow (Prov 10: 22) it is to work like an ant and eat like an elephant, it is to cease from labour and to enter into God’s rest. Jesus proclaimed during his earthly ministry (Matt 11: 28, 29) that all that are in labour and are heavy laden should come unto him and in him is rest. Paul also confirmed this in (Heb 4: 9, 10) it says that “For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God [did] from his”. The rest of Christ Jesus removes toiling that was placed upon ...
