THE FOUNTAIN OF LIFE(II)
I John 1: 7, Psa 119: 130, Prov 20: 27
Today, we will be looking at the light that we receive from His life as discussed previously. This light is for us to walk with him, first, in fellowship then, by extension affecting the world around us. When we walk in the light of the LORD, He sheds a glory upon our path and giveth us understanding of His very person. It is impossible to fellowship with an unknown God. It simply means as we walk in His light we get to know Him each day, each moment better. In (II Cor4: 18) here the bible says “the path of the just is like a shining light that gets brighter each day unto a perfect day”. It means therefore, that the more we fellowship with Him the more light He sheds on our path, the brighter our path gets and the more of Him we know.
What then is the contemporary source of this light? When we study the scripture in (Psa 119: 130) we discover one thing that the source of this light is the entrance of His word in us. The word of God can be; I) Memorized; II) Read; III) Studied; IV) Meditated on;
The last one is the most important art to the word of God. The importance of this art was first revealed to Joshua after Moses death in (Josh 1: 8), God told him the secret to his success in ministry. He said “this word must not depart out of his mouth but must meditate on this word, day and night that there lies his good success”. The question to ask again is, is the word of God in the mouth of the speaker or do we meditate through the mouth? The answer is no, the word is stored in our heart, however, from the heart’s abundance, the mouth speaketh (Luke 6: 45) which means whatever comes out of your mouth expresses the real you. If the word of God is abundant in your heart, your heart will be flooded with light and your spiritual eye becomes single with the LORD’s (Luke 11: 34). Singleness of eye is a product of continuous, consistent and persistent fellowship with the LORD. It is also the source for transformation and conformation of the very elect (Rom 12: 1, 2). The more you meditate on the word of God, the more robust your spirit man becomes, the more light you also receive and the deeper your fellowship is.
The art of meditation produces three sets of believers; I) Those who are wells (Isa 12: 3); II) Those who are rivers; III) Those who are oceans (John7: 38);
God’s expectation for His children is to continuously meditate and transform from a well into an ocean. In (Rom 8: 16) the dynamic of this fellowship between us and the LORD was explained, here the bible says “that the Spirit Himself (S) beareth witness with our spirit”, the witnessing here is the fellowship, what the scriptures is saying is that God’s spirit (the Holy Spirit) (S) comes to search for our spirit; the search is aimed at giving light to our spirit when we allow Him, then, we begin to walk with Him in His light. The heart of an unbeliever is unveiled or circumcised. The process whereby an unbeliever experiences an unveiling of his heart is called circumcision, in (II Cor 3: 18) the scripture here says “all of us with an unveiled faces (heart) beholding as in the mirror and we being changed from one glory to the other even by the Spirit”. From the scripture again, the sole agent for fellowship is the Spirit of God, He initiates fellowship, sustains fellowship to the end of time.
The word “Knowledge” is often referred to as light from what we have discussed, so far we can see that “true knowledge comes when the Spirit of God ministers to our spirit”. A child of God that is not in fellowship, not walking in His light is then devoid of knowledge and consequently understanding of events that surrounds him, he is said to be in darkness and may perish because of lack of knowledge (Hosea 4: 6). Knowledge to the saints is also power because, with knowledge you can move mountains, knowledge you can build and with knowledge all things are possible.
In conclusion do not worship an unknown God (Acts 17: 23) like the church in Athens, Greece. Seek the LORD your God and He shall be found, great shall be thy peace. You will walk head tall where others are trembling in fear. God bless you.

They hit me like:"Wow!" so much so that I thought, after the program I would personally thank him for being such a selfless tool for service!
