From the Pastor's Desk ...          From The Pastor's Desk. NOT THE LABOUR OF MY HANDS Duet 8: 18, John 4: 38 Kingdom wealth is not a function of self-labour, effort, connections or business skills. It is not that which comes from sweat, many still believe that you need to labour (hard-work) to be rich especially as a male, why? Because in (Gen 3: 14,15) it is erroneously believed by many that the curse upon Adam (man) has not been reversed, so every man still need to till the ground to be able to feed. In the second Adam (Christ Jesus) the curse had been reversed for it is written “cursed is he that is hung on a tree” (Gal 3: 13). If the second Adam had removed the curse, then, why am I still under the bondage of the law? When you examine the life of these two people you will appreciate what I am saying clearly;         I.            The palm of t...
From the Pastor's desk THE POWER OF A SERVANT (Part II) II Kings 5: 3, Isa 42: 8 The ministry of Judas was enhanced by the very nature of Christ; when Jesus was praying to the father in (John 17) He specifically said that He had kept all except the son of perdition (Judas) that the scriptures (written word) - the volume of books concerning Judas from eternity - may be fulfilled. The pharisees had problem identifying who amongst them is the Christ because they all look alike, in them was no class distinction, there was no siren to distinguish Christ as the most anointed neither was there any earthly host to accompany him everywhere he went. Today, when you enter into any local assembly where God is supposedly worshipped no one needs to tell you who the pastor is or his wife, elders, and senior elders as the case may be. What a paradox? We are to live here on earth as our Master did but we have all forsaken his ways and h...

THE POWER OF A SERVANT (Part 1) The greatest tragedy is not death but passing through this earth without fulfilling the assignment (the portion of His entire purpose) in (Habakkuk 2: 3), it says “the vision is yet for an appointed time, that at the end of the appointed time the vision shall speak”. What then is the appointed time for every vision? The appointed time for every vision is the season of life for that vision; it varies with and in individuals. The season or the waiting time, as is often called is where the LORD prepares the very elect for His assignment/vision. It is this training period that most of us don’t like to experience, why?Because we often at this point thought God had forgotten us, this is where we erroneously compete and compare. We would look at “A” who started ministry just yesterday, years after we had started, he blossoms, flourishes and multiply in our eyes without formal processi...

THE DYNAMICS OF FORE-KNOWLEDGE From the Pastor's Desk Jer 1: 5, Rom 8: 29, Psa 40: 7 The subject of fore-knowledge is extremely fundamental and of utmost importance to the very elect. It is often said that God’s elect is a closed book. What then is the meaning of a closed book?  The elect left eternity for earth in a volume of books as written of them by God (the author and the finisher); each chapter of this closed book is already a finished work here on earth. The elect has come to play out what has already been finished by God. This is then to say, that as long as you are God’s elect nothing happens to you neither by accident nor without God’s permission. Lucifer therefore, is not your adversary your major adversary is God himself. He told Jeremiah in (Jer 1: 5), “that before He formed him (at all), before he came into his mother’s womb, He had known him”. What is to know? It is to have a relationship with that individual, simply explained it means Jeremiah...
THE ANATOMY OF GOD’S RICHES Phil 4: 19, II Cor 4: 7, 8 The word anatomy refers to the bodily structure of a thing. In this context anatomy refers to the components, the context, the content and the constituents of God’s riches. The word riches are not synonymous to circular wealth as often erroneously taught by many. The riches of God are not and cannot be material wealth, they are not visible. They are in fact invisible but more potent than the physical material. Although, the riches of God is linked with physical wealth ultimately, for the reason of this write-up we will stick absolutely to the spiritual and speak less of the physical manifestation (III John: 2). The riches of God are found embedded invisibly in a prospered soul of His saints. Paul the apostle prayed a prayer for the church in Philippi, the scripture that has become a common one, regrettably, used in our assemblies for taking offerings, it is even a common song that we take while taking offering without...
UNDERSTANDING DIVINE INSTRUCTION II kings 4: 1-7, Prov 4: 20-23 The word understanding is poorly understood by most believers in the faith today; some often say that understanding is the same as knowledge or wisdom. However, understanding is beyond all these, Solomon said, “…get knowledge, get wisdom and above all get understanding”, here Solomon placed understanding above all. Why is it so?  Knowledge without right application (wisdom) is unfruitful, unprofitable and useless to the recipient but understanding brings always a brighter meaning to the other two (knowledge and wisdom). God has a language, so also has the enemy in (Dan 1: 3,4 ) the choicest of the children of Israel who were in captivity in Babylon under God’s divine purpose for them, they were selected to be taught the language of the Chaldeans(the Babylonians). When the very elect refuse to gain understanding of God’s language their effort becomes fruitless, understanding divine instruction, carrying out dil...
KEY TO UNLOCKING ABUNDANCE I Kings 17: 10-16, Luke 5: 1-4, II kings 4: 1-7 The kingdom economy is not synonymous with the world economy. In fact it is completely in contrast to the latter, while in the world system economists have learnt to save to be rich or to acquire plenty. In the kingdom economy the contrast is the case, it is only he that has learnt to scatter that can gather (Prov 11: 24). When you hold on in the kingdom it leads to poverty but when you learn to scatter then abundance is inevitable. Let us start with the first scripture (I Kings 17: 10-16), the brook Cherith went dry after a season of hibernation by Prophet Elijah under God’s instruction after his open confrontation with the then reigning king (King Ahab). The LORD then sent him to a widow in Zarephath who had nothing but just a meal for herself and her son; they had both resolved to die after eating the meal because there was no hope of getting another meal for there was famine in the land according...

THE TWO KINDS OF HEARING.

THE TWO KINDS OF HEARING Rom 10: 17, I Sam 9: 15, John 10: 16 Hearing God is the most vital part of our walk with Him. I have heard many say I work for the LORD, I am a co-labourer in his vineyard. The litmus test to discover your true work for, or with the LORD is in your first, walking with him and that is where the antenna of hearing is of utmost importance. Paul in his epistle to the church in Ephesus explained this explicitly in (Eph 4: 1). There are two kinds of hearing as discovered in (Rom 10: 17), here the scripture says “faith cometh by hearing, and hearing (again) by the word of the LORD” from this scripture the presence of (,) and (and) in the sentence distinguishes these two kinds of hearing. The first kind of hearing is the source of faith; it is from the written word of God. When the written word while studying gives us a revelation we hear God by faith and this is what is referred to as a rhema. For example, a child of God that desir...

ITS TIME TO BE DISTINGUISHED

ITS TIME TO BE DISTINGUISHED Num 17: 1-8 The year 2018, is a year of distinguishment. It is a year in which those that serve the LORD in truth and in spirit shall be singled out from amongst the multitude. It is the year of the demonstration of God’s power, the year of raw prophetic, the year when the impossible is possible and becomes a normal standard or a regular and consistent occurrence. It is the year when the call of God upon his very elect shall acquire an eternal, unquenchable and unstoppable voice. It is the year when the glory upon the elect who are called according to His purposes shall sing praises to Him who has called them, and never be silent again. (Psa 30: 12) It is the year when the LORD shall turn the ashes of the past years into beauty, when he will turn shame into fame and story into glory. Those who have despised you or have thought in their heart that your end has come; they will need to be ready to rejoice with you this season. In the scripture a...
