THE DYNAMICS OF FORE-KNOWLEDGE (Part II)


The greatest tragedy is not death but passing through this earth without fulfilling the assignment (the portion of His entire purpose) in (Habakkuk 2: 3), it says “the vision is yet for an appointed time, that at the end of the appointed time the vision shall speak”. What then is the appointed time for every vision? The appointed time for every vision is the season of life for that vision; it varies with and in individuals. The season or the waiting time, as is often called is where the LORD prepares the very elect for His assignment/vision. It is this training period that most of us don’t like to experience, why?Because we often at this point thought God had forgotten us, this is where we erroneously compete and compare.

We would look at “A” who started ministry just yesterday, years after we had started, he blossoms, flourishes and multiply in our eyes without formal processing by God. Questions like; God why? Is the order of the day in this period of time? Interestingly, Jehovah owes you no explanation for He does whatever pleases Him strictly in accordance with the pleasure of His will (Psa 115: 3) and the dynamics of His fore-knowledge.

The season of life is very vital, pivotal to the eventual success in the vision. An unprepared vessel, unprocessed is ultimately a bad product for consumption. The manufacturer (God) knows what is best, He knows the thoughts that He has towards us, never of evil but of good to give us an expected end in Him. 

Just as we have wall clocks in our different homes it will be wrong for me to run my life or my family affairs or my daily activities with your own wall clock. Your wall clock guides you alone and so also is mine. At the end of the appointed time cometh time itself. This, I need to explain to many of us, the time that you are ripe, ready and had been processed is usually at the end of God’s appointed time. That is where you acquire your own peculiar voice; that is when the vision begins to speak. The very elect must understand this dimension of call, to know that he had already been programmed like a robot from eternity and that he, the elect, cannot alter anything here on earth.

Paul explained this explicitly to the Athens church in (Acts 17: 26). Here Paul said, specifically in Greece that “God had determined time before He appointed the time”. Wow! What a revelation! It means again that everything about me and you are already finished, it cannot be altered by us neither can we make amendments; the only one who can do that is God Himself.

If we understand this revelation, I know that we will turn every murmuring into thanksgiving because our murmur does not make him less God. He is sovereign and His counsel of old is faithful to perform and they are the truth about us (Isa 25: 1). Time therefore, is the end of the appointed time; it is for us when all things become beautiful, when there is beauty for ashes, when there is less effort or labor and plenty of harvest in return. 

Beauty is in the hand of time (Ecc 3: 11). There is nothing that is happening to you now that has not happened before now. In (Ecc 3: 15) the bible says that, “that which had been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past”. You are not here to do anything new under the sun except God in His sovereignty who is the author and the finisher of your faith recalls back the already written book about you for amendment as He deems fit. 

At the fullness of time the elect of God is celebrated; the angels, the host of heaven and the saints rejoice. It is similar in the secular world to the graduation ceremony of a student with a first class that makes his family very proud. I am sure his parents will be very proud of his achievement and sometimes use him to brag. This was exactly what God was doing with Job, a man that had no fault, no blemish and yet God asked Lucifer weather he has been considered. God was proud of Job and was to earn glory by subjecting Job to further tests in the hand of Lucifer. The joy of the LORD is the strength that the elect will  need to go through all these. This same joy is the target of the enemy because he knows that he will cause you to murmur against God, develop doubt the moment he steals your joy (Neh 8: 10). 

Please note that in God’s kingdom joy is an integral element the other two are righteousness and peace. Today, as you read this let the joy of the LORD not be stolen from you instead increase in the joy of the LORD while in the midst of diverse temptations and trials thereby increasing your strength to continue until the finish according to his divine purpose for you.
